Sustainability
Sustainability at Merch Hive.
At Merch Hive, we believe branded merchandise should have a positive impact on both people and the planet. Since launching in 2022, sustainability has remained a key part of how we work and the decisions we make every day.
Within the merchandise industry, we take a practical and thoughtful approach by focusing on better materials, reducing waste and creating products designed to last. It is something we incorporate into both our client work and the way we operate as a business.
Our Partnerships
Working with people who care.
The Greener Earth Project
We have proudly partnered with The Greener Earth Project since January 2023, when we planted our very first tree together. We chose to work with them because of their transparency, clear reporting and genuine approach to sustainability, values that closely align with our own.
To date, together we have planted over 1,598 trees across 3 locations including Scotland, Nicaragua and Tanzania, helping support long term environmental projects with measurable impact. At full maturity, these trees are expected to offset approximately 35.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Pepala
In 2025, we partnered with Pepala to help give surplus stationery and merchandise a second life. Since the partnership began, we have already donated a huge amount of surplus stock, helping prevent perfectly usable products from going to waste.
Through Pepala, these items can now support education projects and school children in Malawi, something we are incredibly proud to be part of.
